Behind Enemy Lines

There’s time when I can’t pretend
I can’t figure out who’s a foe or friend
Can’t tell what’s real or see what’s fake
Thought I was safe till the stakes blend in
Lies are poisonous
For what’s dangerous is what’s strange to us is the sane as us

On the front lines

We put down the us vs them mentality
Knocked down the mental walls that causes sin
And I don’t just see but agree
As men we’ve all been exposed to sin
For the simple fact that we’ve been through that
You can say that we in the same ship
In a see of sinful acts I ask
Who’s to say that we can’t flip
It’s not impossible
Highly logical
That we all go over board
Through every obstacle
I do what I got to do
So that you can know the Lord
He knew what was in store
For us to win the war he had to die
